Training workshops are essential in order to build competence, understanding, and commitment to providing effective and issue-based coverage of social issues. Training is provided by seasoned trainers who have a vast knowledge of journalism and in-depth familiarity with the target community issues. The human eccentric design is the foremost requirement of the training workshop. RNN has built the capacity of a mixed group of local radio journalists, freelancers, youth activists, and social media journalists from Quetta, Lakki Marwat, DI Khan, Kohistan, Swat, Mohammad, Khyber, Orakzai, Bajour (merged districts), Abbottabad, Peshawar, Vehari, Muzaffargarh, Multan, Jamshoro at Islamabad. The training workshops are comprised of various sessions that include modern techniques of journalism and learning about radio/digital formats & reporting.
