POWER99 Foundation, in collaboration with DWA, Infotainment World (Private) Limited, Jazba FM network, Native Media, Pamir Times, Phandar Times, leading radio and video journalists, bloggers/V loggers, freelancers, social media influencers, and environmental specialists, committed to advocating, raise awareness among masses, to mobilize policymakers to devise strategies for better planning for relief and rehabilitation of affecters of calamities due to climate change established Constructive Climate Journalists Network (CCJN).

 

The objective of the CCJN is to create content for the green repository, conduct research on climate change and support the Government of Pakistan’s efforts to fulfill its commitment under SDG 13 “Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts”: SDG 15  “Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss”; and SDG 17 “Global partnership for sustainable development”.

POWER99 Foundation will work closely with the network members to develop a comprehensive roadmap and achieve its objectives as it is our individual duty and that of nations to protect the living systems of the Earth such as the climate, the oceans, the rainforests, and life’s rich biodiversity

 

The CCJN welcomes experts, media professionals, and institutions to become members and contribute to creating awareness of Global Climate changes and Constructive Climate Reporting.
